Buster Quests are a very important part of Episode 5, together with lots of the narrative's battle quests using their mechanisms. These new quests are also accessible at the pursuit counter and may be done with the eight-player multiparty. They're very similar to this Apprentice Urgent Quest, where gamers must work together to protect towers from oncoming enemies. However, there are plenty of new mechanisms which make this new with how it's more siege-like. After protecting the towers, weapons have been set up and have to be protected to breach the castle in the opposite end of the area. Once it is breached, everyone has to make their way into the boss -- that the castle itself. Buster Quests get gradually harder as their level could be built up like Extreme Quests. Of course, new quests imply new items, but there are also new awards to be earned and a new store to go along with them. There's plenty of fresh content with Episode 5 to keep players active, and the story goes back to being centered around ARKS and fighting the Dark Falz. Alongside these exciting new features, new things and Scratch Tickets are also outside, and new Urgent Quests will be on how to freshen up things in PSO2. There are still many details to be revealed as time goes one, but a few major things like battle and the world are much clearer. Hiro Arai from Sega has been live for nearly an hour to show footage off of gameplay and also speak about what new things are on the way. Not much was mentioned about the current game as well as the upgrade coming alongside NG's release other than the graphic update, which is looking fantastic. Maps are no more split into areas with loading screens. NG will have an entirely open world in the home base to the field. The TGS footage showed a gorgeous new world that's a significant update from the current game. Blades of grass blow in the end, lush forests lie on the opposite side of valleys and frosty mountains could be viewed in the distance. Arai cites that different areas can be reached seamlessly by simply traversing the world. It seems like that is the planet Naberious in the present game, with forests being adjacent to tundra and different regions. Areas are still technically split up, but there's no loading between them. While it hasn't been directly mentioned, an open world such as this implies there might not be single party areas anymore. Most shown in the footage were multi-party areas in which there were other gamers. The cover for multi-party places continues to be reduced to eight down from twelve in the present PSO2, but who you see will differ from area to area.
