Indomitable spirit, never say die attitude and trust in her purpose are the hallmark of Karuna Sharma, the President of Vikash Deep Foundation a non-profit organisation based in Delhi. She is Co-Founder of Elite Academy for Education and Training Pvt. Ltd. and Obiyan Infotech Pvt. Ltd.
She was brought up in Maharashtra and completed her studies from Nagpur University (M.Sc.). After her marriage she shifted to Delhi, but as a workaholic woman she always aspired to do something remarkable in life.
She took a job in IT sector in Delhi, but it was against her natural will. Further she founded her own IT Company named Obiyan Infotech Private Limited. Business was growing but her penchant for social work was not satisfied. This propelled her for two more noble initiatives which was directly connecting her to Indian youths and the larger society.
In association with her husband, who has an academic tilt – she founded Elite IAS Academy, this imparts coaching to Civil Services aspirants. Hundreds of students have been selected from this institute as an IAS, IPS, IFS, IRS etc.
